Established in North Cyprus in 2017, Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) is a thematic art university entirely dedicated to the fields of art, design and communication. ARUCAD's goal is to become one of the most prestigious universities in the field of art education, with its students continuously improving their creative productivity through interdisciplinary and cross- cultural programmes based on traditional, modern and contemporary art teaching and education, paying attention to the inseparable link between theory and practice. ARUCAD offers seven undergraduates under three faculties. Please find all the available program.
ARUCAD strives to bring the university and the general public together. Throughout the academic year, collaborative
projects are carried out between academic institutions and art businesses, such as art galleries, museums, and
production companies. In order to make student life more fulfilling and also rich in practical workshops, the University
of Creative Arts and Design carries out many projects such as: Mediterranean Art Biennial under the direction of ARUCAD.
In this art biennial, the works of artists from different countries around the Mediterranean Sea are exhibited. ARUCAD
Photography and Video Art festival An annual exhibition of selected works by world-renowned photographic and video
artists.
ARUCAD Underwater Statue Museum World-renowned artists are invited to create sculptures in ARUCAD's ceramic
workshop. The artworks are then exhibited at suitable underwater locations.
Art, statue, photo and video competition for high school students. This competition is held every year in four different
categories. The goal of this competition is to raise awareness of art and art education and to create an artisticsocial
environment.
ARUCAD Digital Art and Design Magazine.
The magazine will contain national and international art news,
including: Articles, art and design criticism, and current groundbreaking research on art, design, and visual culture.
Exhibition reviews and workshops taking place at ARUCAD will also be announced through the magazine.
Applying to ARUCAD University is free. University fees consist of tuition and activity fund fees. When your application
to ARUCAD has been approved, your first tuition fee will be stated on your acceptance letter. Once you make the payment,
you will be issued a student certificate that will allow you to proceed with travelling and registration procedures. In
addition to tuition fees, you will consider other expenses such as books, supplies, residency permit, health insurance,
accommodation, transportation, food, entertainment and other.
The cost of education at ARUCAD is very reasonable
compared to the very high standard offered. In addition, the university offers scholarships, tuition waivers and
discounts that further reduce the cost of education.
All international students at ARUCAD receive scholarships that
cover 50% of tuition fees. 100% scholarships are also offered to students with outstanding academic records. Here’s the

You will also have the opportunity to receive additional tuition discounts (75% and 100%) based on your interview and portfolio scores. ARUCAD admits students twice a year, for the fall and spring semesters.
ARUCAD students have access to modern and affordable accommodation in the heart of the city, within easy walking
distance of campus. There are regular shuttle busses from campus to dorms in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
ARUCAD's dormitory facilities are comprised single and double rooms and also have a cafeteria, study room, generator,
